1950s Vintage Flower Earrings Spanish Damascene Style Glass Pearl Clip-Ons

This is a charming and well preserved pair of Spanish Damascene style flower earrings from the 1950s, stamped SPAIN on the clips. They have glass pearl centres and three dimensional overlapping gilt petals embellished with intricate black enamel decoration highlighted by raised relief gilt metalwork, and silver overlay along the edges– simulating the classic damascene look.

They measure 20mm or 0.8 inch across, and fasten with clip on fastenings inscribed SPAIN, which are secure yet also really comfortable to wear. The glass pearls are in excellent condition, and the gilding is well preserved - attesting to the earrings' quality.

This fresh and attractive design, which brings together elements of Spain’s Moorish heritage and mid-century Hollywood glamour, is what makes Midcentury Spanish costume jewellery such as these earrings, so popular with both collectors and those who love wearing vintage.

RETURNS We have a no quibble return policy, so if you are not happy with your item, please get in touch within 14 days and ship the item back to us within 30 days of receipt. Return postage is normally paid by the buyer (cf. Etsy's return policies).
